This was my weekend to lift me up and carry me through the rest of the winter...ugh. I would attend sometimes all 4 days just to see my dealer friends and just awe at the new models and shiny hulls...The Admiral would only last a day, but hopefully next year..Miami Boat show is on my to do list. Anyone have a boat show that wasn't cancelled? If so, enjoy my boating friends!

They’re all canceled in my state. Sucks but is what it is. I also go even with no interest to buy a new boat each year. My dealer did their “boat show” last week virtually. They’re practically sold out of wake boats for 2021 and have few luxury pontoons left. You can setup for demos and the savings are still there but it’s not the same as the boat show :(

We went to one a couple of weeks ago in Fredericksburg VA. Yamaha, Cobalt, Sea Ray, some pontoon boats. People had to purchase a ticket with a two hour time slot.

Anyone familiar with the status of the Richmond VA boat show? There are literally 3 different dates on the website. One of the 3 dates is 2022, while the other two are different weeks in Feb '21. I also recall reading they had a March backup date if it was too soon COVID-wise.

Thanks

I was wondering about this too. I saw one website that says the one at the convention center is canceled and then lists the 2022 dates you mentioned. And i've also seen one scheduled the same weekend at the Richmond Raceway but i haven't been able to figure out if that one is actually happening. I'm still digging around trying to figure it out.

I just got an email concerning the downtown convention center show...Jan 2022 :(

Louisville, KY show was cancelled this year. They had a "virtual show" online with free tickets. I "attended", but it just wasn't the same.

I too am sad.

I imagine dealers are losing out on lots of profit right now.

Inventory is crazy right now.

I just went on boat trader to see how many were for sale (used) around me to compare and possibly list mine on there. Within 200 miles, there are only 9 Yamahas (used). Checked Craigslist, there are maybe 2 or 3 legit ads.

Toronto Boat Show was virtual, we missed out. my Father and I have been going every year since about 2007/2008. I would always come up with a list of boats I wanted and he would jokingly reply "stay in school and one day you'll have one".

of course this year being the year i graduated school, got a job and bought a boat of my own, was the first year the boat show was cancelled (online only)... was looking forward to this years trip in particular... No matter! made plenty of memories, and we're all the more eager for next years show!
