Dangit. I clicked the link. The top of the page says AR240. I couldn't believe the wave they were getting without any ballast on the back end. Then watched the video more carefully and saw that it is a 242X.

They have 2. 5’3” or 5’0” according to the Yamaha accessories book for 2019.

From what I've seen the wake booster package contains the 5'3" one if you are buying the total package. Otherwise as mentioned above you can buy just the surfboard and have a choice between 5'0" or 5'3".
Guess that Steve was using the 5'3" since he was reviewing the "Package".

The more I think about this I am betting the same guy that puts the floor in also does the pilot house. If it were a different guy he would have told the first guy to fix it.

So far the word is 'no'. The WakeBooster can only be bought as part of the entire package according to all the dealers I've heard from.

I’ve only surfed behind a outboard boat with a 6’3” short board years ago. I’ve never tried behind my yahama. I wonder with a reg surf board if I can ride a wave behind my AR240. What speed are you running?

Does anybody know if this will work on a 2011 SX210? I called the dealer and they said that the product specs say it's good for back to 2015 models. I'm guessing they just don't want to guarantee it works for older boats, but I can't see how it would be any different?

It will not, the transom tie down loops are in a different location.
