Bow Roller Hull Protection

@Bruce had asked about this so I thought I would post. I know many have coverted to Stoltz bow rollers to prevent the roller from leaving marks on the hull. In addition to changing to a non-marking bow roller I installed a KeelGuard XL ScuffBuster BowGuard, https://www.keelguard.com/scuffbuster.html. I purchased my off amazon, http://www.amazon.com/Keelguard-KEELGUARD-XL-SCUFFBUSTER-BOWGUARD/dp/B001RMYFNI. I went with the XL version to provide the most protection area. This is an easy installaion, the Keelguard is mount with double sided tape.
This is how it looks after installation. The bottom edge comes all the down to the bow hook.

Thanks Andy, when I saw it on your boat I thought about how it would help protect from scratches where the bow rubbed against a dock as well.

It is rare that the bow of my boat is that close to the dock so I forgot about that added benefit.
