Does the tweeter still function? Looks like it came unglued from the swivel. If it still functions ok I'd use some jb weld or epoxy and put it back on. If it's blown or damaged just buy a new pair. The speakers have a one year warranty so if they broke on their own and you're within warranty you could possibly have them replaced.

Agreed. You've got some options... but now might be time to upgrade to a nicer speaker like a JL, Kicker, Rockford, Wetsounds, etc.

I don't have an amp as far as I know. Stock 2018 242 LSE. If I get fancier speakers will they sound terrible if I don't power them with an amp?

Uh oh here we go. I upgraded my sound system when I bought my boat. Thousands of dollars later it sounded amazing. Be careful what you start lol!

Not if you get the right ones. High sensitivity speakers will sound great even without an amp. I didn't have my rockford amped at first, and they sounded great. Now on an amp... they're super loud and sound amazing.

You're right at a fork in the road. What to do...If you can start the upgrading process, now's the time. Your boat is telling you something. :)

Go with JL(M) or Wetsounds (Revo). IMO these are the best out there. As mentioned, you can always add an amp later, NBD.
