BRP Engine Owners Manual

I am taking delivery of a new (2015) 203 VR next week and would like to know where to download the engine manual (4- TEC 250 ECT)
During the test drive I noticed a high pitched whistle from the engine area, almost sounded like an air leak or bearing squeal that varied with rpm. Curious about the lubrication requirements.

The compressed air coming from the supercharger can make that sound. Don't know if that's what you are hearing but I know I hear the supercharger over the engine noise when I am out cruising.

If that's a normal supercharger sound that's OK, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't something leaking or a bearing wearing out.
We will keep an eye on it and see if the sound changes after we get a little time on the engine

You should be able to buy the service manual from your dealer, p/n: 460660.
I think the owner's manual can be found & downloaded for free at : www.operatorsguides.brp.com
