Anyone use any of these $50-$100 websites? I don't need anything special. I got a quote from an acquaintance and he wanted $2500 for a package... simply not worth it to me.
What's the business? I'm a designer so I'm bias towards using a professional for many reasons. That said, is this just some side hustle business, or something you are committed to and want to build a brand and a name for yourself as a full time business? Every logo has its place, some side hustles can look like you used clip art and that is fine. If this is a restaurant or something that you provide service that cost some money, you need to convey reliability and not fly by night. You'd be surprised what goes on in peoples heads when they see your logo. You've heard the old adage, don't judge a book by its cover? Well people do unfortunately. The more professional it looks, the better chance you have of making more money.
