This is really bothering me.
The Problem:
Recently got a Wet Sounds Stealth 10 Ultra to add some volume to my 2015 AR240 while underway. It seems the only way to connect the WS Stealth to my existing system is thru either the AUX 3.5mm input or output. If I play bluetooth with my Stealth and output to the Aux input of my existing system, my 4 existing speakers will have a high pitched buzzing noise. If I play bluetooth with my existing Yamaha (Polk) system, I would get the buzzing noise thru the WS Stealth.
At first I thought the 3.5mm line was too long (25ft) and causing the interference but I've narrowed it down to the touchscreen. As I have it at full brightness, it would be the high pitched buzzing noise (if the 3.5mm jack is connected), if I lower the brightness on the screen, it would generate a lower tone and equally as annoying.
What can I do to solve this problem? Do you think its a grounding issue at the battery? Is there something I can get like a ground loop noise isolator?
Driving me nuts that I can't enjoy the complete system together as the buzzing is giving me a headache. They work fine separately.
