Can I repair this crack? It runs about 3/4 of the vertical length of the cabinet door, nearest the hinge receptacles, approximately 23”. Would some wood glue and small metal brackets work?

Is there any labeling to the brand of cabinetry most companies have a life time warranty that cover cracks like that

If not a small screw with a finish head pre drill clamp glue and screw

Get as much wood glue as you can down in the crack and clamp it across the door. Clean up any excess glue that oozes out while it's still wet with a damp rag. The glue joint will be stronger than the wood itself. If it breaks again it won't be because the glue failed.

Edit: clamp the door stile (vertical frame piece) further down using small clamps on the stile itself rather than across the door.

You could also take 3 to 4 , flat metal picture frame gussets and install them along the crack boundary with small pan head screws . I mean, if you really don't care what it looks like on the inside.

Thanks. I picked up some clear gorilla glue this morning, separated the crack as much as I could, filled it, and wiped the excess. I didn’t have clamps large enough for the width of the cabinet so I have ratchet straps holding it in place. Will see how it holds.
