Hi,

I also saw that but as per customer support for boats.net and partzilla it is a different part. Can anyone confirm it can be used?

Below a copy of the chat:

Those are differen part numbers.
Different*
F1C-U8037-01-00
F3A-U8037-00-00

Thanks!

Like I said I think F3A replaced the F1C. Best to call your dealer to confirm but looks to me F1C is obsolete and moving forward all 2013-2019 boats show using F3A switch assembly. I'm not sure what the differences are to the switch but doesn't seem like the F1C is available anywhere. My hunch is it's simply replaced by F3A but call your dealer to confirm.

Problem is I am located in the Caribbean. I do not have a dealer down here :(. Hence I am asking for your help guys..

Hmm maybe someone here can check for you at their dealer if they have a knowledgeable service department? I don't have a Yamaha boat anymore and my local Yamaha dealer isn't that great. @Julian

Are you set in the original part? With some electrical knowledge any generic switch can likely be wired in place of the OEM switch. maybe worth an option since based on your location labor may be much cheaper than parts. Best of Luck!

Hi guys i figured it out... the newer part does not have the German plug but single wires. But I figure I would heat shrink the old plug on the new switch and it should be ready to go.
