Very scary! The people standing so close to that raging river were taking huge risks, too. Amazing that he survived.
 
I'm in Boerne. He's the pride of our town :confused:

Everything around here floods badly when it rains hard and 8-12 inches of rain in a few hours qualifies. It came up very quickly in every river, creek and ditch around us, including the notorious low water crossing at Tapatio Springs, where the jeep ate it.

Normally, that is a trickle of a creek, not the raging river you see there. But common sense should have prevailed.
