Hi all. Was going to have a canvas "skirt" made for my 2015 Limited S. Florida sun is savaging the black gelcoat. Has anybody else done this? The reason I ask is the the local shop wants the boat on the trailer to template it and that is a bit of a hassle for me. I figured if anybody did this, their canvas shop may still have the template. Thanks!...and Happy Easter/Passover.

My experience is that the shops will not take a template. They dont trust that the template will be perfect for every boat (obviously Yamaha used a template and didnt do custom biminis for each boat). When I was asking a couple different shops to do something similiar, they said I had to bring them the boat. No compromising. Good luck! I hope you get it worked out!

x2 on bringing the boat to the canvas shop. They have to deal with shrinkage of the material and Velcro/Straps etc to insure tightness of fit.

OK guys, thanks. I just had the templates done by the local canvas guy. Everything takes forever here in the Florida Keys, so hopefully I'll have it before the summer is over. Lol.

I gotta a shipping cover from some one here that couldnt be used for towing anore. I use it to keep the sun off my boat.
