Has anyone come up with some captain's belongings storage solutions? (Keys, wallet, other small things). I'd rather save the glove box for passenger things.

I keep all my captains belongings in a small clear waterproof pelican style case that has a key ring strap on it. I attached a 3m hook to the wall below the capt chair and hang it right there. Out of the way but always within arms reach if needed. I keep my keys, wallet, registration, and couple other necessities in it and it is small enough to go with me anywhere.

Basically something like this.

I've thought about putting something like this under the helm or under the throttles.....

I don't need much in the way of storage. I use an automotive "trash bag" that I got at Pep Boys (I think) I have it around the throttles and it hangs next to my seat. I also have one of those suction cup radio holders next to it:

Now, the wife on the other hand...she needs a whole lot of storage. For her I cut a big hole on the port side:

You could always do the same on the starboard side.
