Any suggestions for how not to break the carpet buttons? I have a 2019 AR195 I just bought, so not sure exactly how previous owner maintained it. Every time I take carpet out at least 2 or 3 more buttons break off on the carpet side. Also two of the center cushion buttons broke off, looked corroded. Any recommended maintenance on buttons??

I don't know if this is what you're asking for in terms of maintenance. I just replaced some snaps using a kit something like this. (see below) I just needed the carpet part though, not the screws that go into the boat, so I was able to use a kit I found at Walmart. The new snaps work great. I'm going to try to lift at each of the snaps rather than just pull on the carpet. Maybe that will help. If it doesn't, it is really easy to put in a new snap.

Congrats on the new boat. You may want to update the boat info in your profile. I also went from an old SeaDoo boat to a Yamaha.

I use a plastic interior tool similar to what @feziwig posted. I felt them tearing the first time I took it out. I use the tool on every snap every time now
