I'm sure people ave done this before, just wondering the best way to remove the carpet snaps and fill the holes. Tired of walking on the snaps in bare feet

Unscrew and fill the hole. Some use 3m 5,200. I used white epoxy.

What ever you use, make sure it is UV stable. 3m 4000UV will not yellow and will remain soft. Epoxy and a gel coat repair is more permanent.

What brand epoxy did you use and how lond if a process is it? I have never did an epoxy repair before so looking for a little guidance.

The snaps suck to step on and the grey vinyl mats that came with my boat are too damn hot to walk on after a few minutes of being in the sun.

I figured it may be worth it to keep the snaps in case I wanted to get the sea dek and snap it in rather than trying to glue it. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

I had a couple other nicks on the outside of the boat I wanted to touch up, so used Spectrum gelcoat repair paste. Perfect color match.

Snaps wouldn't line up. Remove, repair
