Lakes with dams in the Southest are being preemptively drawn down slowly in anticipation of Hurricane Irma. So if you wetslip or lift you will want to take that into consideration. Also be careful cruising around these lakes as there may things close to the surface that you have not encountered before. I will be putting my boat on the trailer Sunday and using my shipping cover instead of my mooring cover.

@Mainah I was reading your post and thinking, why would he be doing that way up north? Then I looked at your avatar and saw you moved south...Good Luck to you. I did see in this morning's news that they were lowering Lake Okeechobee ahead of the storm. Officials are hopefully planning better for this hurricane.
