I was out on the water the other day and got caught in 4-5 foot waves. I had to gun it back to our location due to storms coming my way. I hit a few high revs while jumping waves and got a check engine light (port side). I just reset it and kept heading home. Put boat on lift and flushed with salt away like always. No problem
Changed out my old battery for a new "Wal Mart special." Charged battery up.
Went out today and while just putting along in a no wake area about 30 mins into my outing the light came on again (port side). I silenced it but it kept coming back. I stopped the engines, checked the oil level. All good. Restarted and it kept coming back on! I researched the forum for answers but thought I would ask again to see if others have had this issue?
I am only running a single battery with stacked connectors. Could that be an issue? It has never been a problem before but now I don't want to keep running the error not knowing what the cause truly is.
Any help or advice is appreciated.
