There were no error codes present and the manual states to see a dealership or certified mechanic. I really wish they would give some brief solutions because this is an easy fix. For us all we had to do was check the terminal leads, the negative had come loose and the positive had an extra nut below the leads we weren't aware of. By tightening the negative and removing the extra nut, the issue was resolved.
If you want to encourage more owner-friendly practices like detailed manuals with greater solutions and access to personal repairs, check out your local, state, and regional right-to-repair laws which are coming into several industries in the next few years. By promoting these laws we can better support consumers and abandon inefficient, expensive, and time consuming trips to the dealer.
