Ken it never ceases to amaze me what's happening to the Western world it seems to be burying itself in bureaucracy and red tape, Don't worry England is not far behind you there are many rules and regulations that just don't make any sense whatsoever, It just makes me appreciate the life i have here even more and without question it was the right thing to do when i decided to move here.
 
Would have taken more than a douchebag with a walkie talkie and a clipboard to stop me from grilling in my own yard. Holyshit.
 
Those guys took it way better than I would've. I'd show that video to my neighbors and then organize a weekly BBQ/Smoke Out on my block!!!

Maybe someone is "impacted" by the smell of a fireplace. This ordnance would make them shut it down. It's asinine from the word go.

If it was me, I would take her a plate of BBQ and smile smile smile the whole time. Then tell her she's welcome to come over and have some next weekend when they smoke some more.
 
So your smoke can't leave your property line "airspace" but her drone is allowed to fly over it... Don't shoot it down though, you will get arrested.
 
speechless...I smoke all the time on my property. If a county worker stops by telling me that I am breaking the law because the smell of smoke is leaving my property, I would proceed to add more wood chips to my smoker and stoke the fire.
