I noticed a lot of people trailer their boats and use the 303, Boat Bling, etc. products after they pull it out of the water. And all of the great results that you get. I typically keep mine in the water for the entire season and don't remove the boat until the end of the season.

For those of you that keep your boats docked at a freshwater pier, what is your routine when it comes to keeping the exterior clean, water spots, etc. What do you use? When do you do it? How do you do it? How often do you do it? And any other thoughts. I used some Ducky today while anchored out and it worked out pretty good. But was interested in other routines.

Thx.

Getting kinda personal aint ya. ;)

Mine is in a slip on a lift. I use Hot Sauce on the final day we boat for the weekend. So if we boat Friday, Sat, Sun, I wipe it down with Hot Sauce on Sun.

Did not even think about the x-rated-ness of my post. But hey, adding a little spice to a boating site is never a bad thing :).

Thanks for your recommendations of Hot Sauce and Magic Erasure. I'll keep those in mind.

I used the Ducky yesterday when anchored but did not wipe it down as instructed. I basically sprayed as much of the fiberglass as possible and let it sit for a few minutes. Went around with a wet soft brush and then splashed some water on it to rinse it off. I gotta say that it looked pretty good once dried. No more water spots and it really shined. I wanna see what it looks like today after I drove it back to the pier and the boat dried last night.

I second magic erasers...

I also use 303 and windex. I don't have a set routine, more of when I have time.

This week I lifted all the cushions and cleaned the channels. I also cleaned, with windex, the ski locker channels, which were gross.
