Clearing faults '21+ SE, XE, SD, XD

Ok for all '21+ boats that are SE, XE, SD,XD.
When getting a fault that did not just clear on it's own. You may see that it leaves a red check engine light and lower RPMs. No Forward or Reverse. No steering
Common faults,

• Overheating fault when restarting= lowered RPMs.
• Sand in reverse bucket fault . After freeing reverse bucket the computer leaves it where you left it.=No electric F/R direction controls.
• Steering fault stick jammed or back up to the sand bar.=No Steering.

The newer boats do not respond from just cycling the batteries. I even had some faults come up while in the driveway. I tried even leaving the batteries off overnight. The newer boats want to see key cycles without any further problems.
(So fix what may have happened) Sand, sticks, weeds
Now turn key on let conext boot up. Turn key off 4-5 seconds. Then back on. Do this about 5-6 times.
I have had this work for, over heating, (Xd steering stuck with a piece of drift wood) sand in the reverse bucket,

Also on the issues of lack of power on the XD boats/ limp mode not able to go over 15 mph. If you start the boat and put it in forward or reverse to quickly. The surfgate does a auto retract cycle to check that it is retracted.
