good evening all

need a little help I was getting a over heating problem so I replaced my impeller casing and found a shell in my pump, thought I was done nope, today I have a check engine light on and the code was 15 so I looked it up and seems to be a sensor. Has anyone had to deal with this or even know we’re it might be?

thank you

If you go to someplace like yamahasportsplaza.com (one of my prefered ones, but there are several), they will have breakout diagrams for your boat. Go to the engine, look on the drawing with the exhaust manifold and you should see among the parts listed a sensor, temp. That is your boy. And looking on the diagram, you should be able to see about where it is.

Should be a little thingy shaped like a big, squat bolt, with a wire coming out of the top. It will unscrew and you screw the new one in (and move the wire over to the new one).

I think, just to add fun to your life, that there may be 2 temp sensors....
