Anyone ever made this trip starting to look into in looks like a fun long weekend
We are delighted you have found your way to the best Jet Boaters Forum on the internet! Please consider Signing Up so that you can enjoy all the features and offers on the forum. We have members with boats from all the major manufacturers including Yamaha, Seadoo, Scarab and Chaparral. We don't email you SPAM, and the site is totally non-commercial. So what's to lose? IT IS FREE!
Membership allows you to ask questions (no matter how mundane), meet up with other jet boaters, see full images (not just thumbnails), browse the member map and qualifies you for members only discounts offered by vendors who run specials for our members only! (It also gets rid of this banner!)
If you decide to do the trip let me know, if it works I would like to boat down there with you.
I have looked into a couple but have not gone down there to put my eyes on them. Most are around the Battery and up the Ashley river a little ways. I hope in the next month or so to make a run to check out the launch area on Lake Marion and a place to stay in Charleston. Once I have details I will let everyone know. Also, @Stacey in SC might be able to provide some insight. The challenge maybe finding a place to moor the boats overnight in Charleston within distance of accommodations? Do you have any ideas on that front?
I would definitely be interested in joining in on that weekend. Right now I have Bimini on the brain but once we get back I can focus more on this trip.Update - @DieselCamel and I are still planning this. Thus far, it looks like we're gonna head down 8/16 and come back 8/17.
