comments on this particular model Gladiator Tube?

We haven't used one like that but looks like it could be hard on the neck holding your head up, especially in rougher water, just a thought. Looks like a pretty good price though.

I have the gladiator switch which is quite a bit different but one thing might be similar. The tube seems a little skinny and if I slow down too fast it takes a nose dive and dumps everyone. Not something my little ones appreciated, since they were pretty nervous to begin with. This year they might enjoy it though. That was the reason I bought the switch because it will now be transitioned into the lay on your stomach mode for my kids who are growing up way to fast.

The video showed its operation in smooth water, that is a slim tube with little apparent flotation up front.... I can see the front digging into waves giving riders water-facials, or nosing in on deceleration dumping them without warning..... Hopefully I'm wrong on this, but that's a downside I see..... Other than that it looks like a lot of fun for a lay-down tube!

I have 2 of the 1 person flat, round tubes. We put a kid on each tube and they battle it out to knock each other off and have a blast...

Regarding the flat tubes like that, if they lean too far forward when starting, the nose can bury. Same thing when stopping, it can happen. For older kids, no big deal but could be a scary ride for the younger ones...

Yea, I have a ton of tubes and my original Gladiator from ten years ago has about had it but some of the folks like these type....most of my gang prefer the saucers that scream across the water. But for 200 bucks? Cant beat that and Costco's around here don't have anything this season. Thanks!
