Who has been to some "must see" shows? We have been to many concerts over the years....everything from Snoop Dogg to the Beach Boys. We are big country fans and Brad Paisley puts on one of the best shows you'll see in country music. He has been good to my boys over the last few years as you will see in the video. Hope you enjoy!

My most memorable concert was the first one I went to.....Rolling Stones in Madrid Spain in 1982....was over 100 degrees while we wait with general admission tickets to sit on the grass of the football (soccer) field. J Giels Band opened for them, and then it began to POUR! The rain felt so good.....but a rumor was going around that the Stones wouldn't come out in the rain. They came out while it was pouring....and rocked!

I used to do security for concerts in Wichita. Brad Paisley does put on an awesome show!
The rowdiest crowd I ever encountered was an Eric Church concert. Kip Moore opened then Justin Moore (from my hometown) played and got the crowd pretty rowdy. By the middle of Eric's I lost count of how many fights I broke up, and kicked lots of guys out of the open area by the stage.

Anything at Red Rocks! If its not on your list of things to do, it should be..

Biggest......Rolling Stones at Death Valley, Clemson
Best vibe........Zach Brown, last year Gexa Energy Pavalion, Dallas
Best Rock.......Pearl Jam reunion tour last year AAC, Dallas
Best before they were famous......Hootie and the Blowfish, music farm, charleston,sc
Best tailgate......Jimmy Buffet, Frisco, TX every year!!!

Live aid, 13th July 1985, Wembley stadium, London……………Queen……………blew the place apart, never experienced a concert/group like it before or again.

Been to a lot of them over the years but my most memorable was a three day festival in Bethel, NY in Aug 1969.

US Festival 1983...Glen Helen Regional Park, Devore, CA...all three days (new wave, heavy metal, and rock)...what a great experience
Most recently though: The Eagles at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, they still sound so good.
Depeche Mode at the Staples Center last September, they are great in concert!

We get the benefit of being on a river with a concert venue also on the river. Riverbend in Cincinnati, OH. For some shows you can really get decent sound, others not so much, but there are usually quite a few boats (and other things) out during Jimmy Buffet, Kid Rock, and other concerts. It's probably not worth a special trip with your boat to hear a concert, but if you are ever in the area during a concert, it CAN be fun.

If you watched the video in the first post, you'll see that the memories our family has made at Brad Paisley are irreplaceable.....but the BEST show I have ever seen was Phil Collins back in 1994 (also my first concert). I hate that he doesn't tour anymore.

On another note, we really want to see Coldplay and Mumford and Sons in the near future.

My wife and I recently saw the Imagine Dragons (her idea) and I walked away a fan. They were amazing! I'm typically a Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Mötley Crüe, Guns n Roses, Led Zeppelin type fan.

Headed to Charleston tomorrow to see Hootie and the Blowfish. Been a fan since they were playing small shows while I was at USC. Always a good time.

Dave Matthews Band @ Soldier Field, row 2

A more intimate show was Dave Matthews with Tim Reynolds @ MGM, totally different experience with the acoustic guitars, but it was cool taking song requests from the audience.

Seen Pat Green at the same bar\honky tonk that's only 15 from our house. Only a 1000-1200 people at the most. A very intimate concert experience. We've seen the Randy Rodgers Band play at the same place. Been to a few concerts at the places that BigN8 mentioned to see big stars like Alan Jackson, Trace Atkins, Taylor Swift (for my daughter). We really like the smaller places and bars to see and hear great music.

Have been listening to 311 since I was 14. Been to 9 of their concerts. Best yet was when snoop opened. What an eclectic crowd that was. Exciting to get to take my son with me this year and introduce another generation to the music I love! Oh... And country concert in Fort Lormie Oh is always a great time!

First date with my wife back in college was an OAR concert at Newport.

I've been to a lot of concerts in my life! Best performance ever....Santana! Man, that guy can rock! The girls in the group were up dancing for 4 straight hours!
