Anyone have any issues when your trying to play music (Bluetooth, Radio) and it periodically cuts into "Trying to connect to USB"?

Just bought a brand new 2017 AR240 and we keep having this issue with the radio system when we go out. Didn't know if there was a quick fix for this.

What kind of phone are you using?

Hmm. I'm not too well versed with Iphones but that might be the culprit. Sounds like a phone cache issue. But weird it's trying to connext as usb when you are doing bluetooth tho. I would need more details in when it does it. Does system reset fixes issue? Or turning your phone bluetooth on/off?

I've tried both of these and they didn't work...

And I'm guessing there is nothing plugged into the USB outlet? Another thing is, when in bluetooth mode, go ahead and click bluetooth again on connext music screen to give you all the options. Not sure if you do this already or not.

Just out of curiosity, is your phone plugged into the USB charger on the port side? It may sound simple but that charger ties right into the radio as well and isn't a charging only USB like you might see in a cigarette lighter adapter. It is probably to trying to pick up the USB functionality for the music and overriding the Bluetooth connection. Maybe not but just a thought.

Yep same here! Every time someone plugs in to charge their phone, it interrupts Bluetooh streaming and I need to go back into Connext and tell it Bluetooth again. Not sure if that's what's happening to Chase though...

I must have totally missed this - where is the USB connection on the port side?

On the E series it's in the side wall to the left of the upper glove box. Not sure of your interior color, but it doesn't jump out at you if you have black interior side panels, but you know your power starved passengers will spot it in a hart beat!
