Is there a way to pull the engine messages? Every once in a while ill get a port engine error. Fires right up.and runs fine, just a quick error then it goes away. Would love to know what it is.
 
I read on this forum about a cable and software on ebay that will pull codes, just like you can for cars. I looked into it for about 10 minutes until I read the solution wasn't ready for my boat, not sure about other boats.
 
All the Yamaha boats have #YDS connections that allow you to pull detailed engine hours, diagnostics and errors. I am not aware of a way to do this via the Connext screen. There are usually sellers on ebay selling the cable and sw (you want version 1.3.3)
