After installing a amp and sub on my 2018 212 limited s. I find that the head unit (Connext) doesn’t cut off every time I turn the keys off. When it stays on (with the keys off) I can turn the blower switch on then off it will go off. This doesn’t happen every time but it happened a few times today. The rmt on the amp is wired to the blue wire coming from my Connext unit. “12v switch” Could this be just feed back from the amp.

The remote for the amp should be connected to the blue remote wire from your head unit. Do you have a Polk in the glovebox? If so, you probably have a remote wire behind it that you should be using. The Connext doesn't have a remote wire that I'm aware of, and you might be running 12v in circles confusing the Connext.

There is quite a delay from when I turn off the ignition until the Connext turns off. Maybe you just aren't waiting long enough?

We stopped for lunch at a local restaurant last weekend. I almost forgot the key in the switch so one of the guys turned it off and removed the key for me. When I got back to the boat, Connext was sitting there in float mode and the engines were able to start up. After a complete reboot (turn batteries off and on again) it worked fine.

Connext gremlins I tell ya...
