We have members here that might be willing to offer a serious person a test drive or ride in their boat. This is totally voluntary on the members part, and is not "sponsored" by Jetboaters.net - volunteer and perform at your own risk! Members will be far more likely to offer this to people who've been active on the forum - IE - you didn't just join and seek a ride - you've asked pertinent questions and posted seeking clarification on models/issues etc.

I added a poll option so a tally would sit at the top of the thread......not sure if that will be helpful or not. If you vote yes/maybe and have a location in your profile I will try and keep the list up to date (ping me in a conversation if I miss you).

It may be more helpful to create a google doc for tracing this. Lets see how this plays out. I have made this is STICKY in the Welcome Aboard New Member forum.

Maybe we should include Boat Year Model as well. If someone wants a 25' boat, may not make sense to ride in a 190? Twin engines and single engines handle a bit differently. I dunno, may not be relevant though.

That was why I was thinking a google doc might make sense, but the problem I've had with them is that since you need to leave it open for everyone to edit, it is really easy for people to just mess it up.

Just an HTML table I would guess. Puts the work on you and the admins a bit though.

I'm going to leave it with "beggars can't be chosers" for now. If they want a particular model test drive....we may get to the point where they have multiple in state options. And then they can just point at the Member name and see the model they have.

This community has helped me more times than I can count and I’d be happy to give back in any way that I can.

My boat is in central Wisconsin on the Lake Winnebago chain. I’m rarely home during the week so it would only be on weekends.

We should volunteer @drewkaree - he has the perfect docking area to show potential buyers how convenient the clean out ports are to remove weeds…….

Thank you guys for doing this. Very new to the boating scene, and with most dealers having limited availability to even look at, it is difficult for someone like me to know what they are really looking for. For example, I might think I need a 24', but maybe a 21' will be fine. Or even a 19'. Its one thing to look at the photos, its another thing to actually be in the boat. I look forward to continuing to gain some knowledge and hopefully one day I can repay it back to the community.

Since we just kicked this off (yesterday), we don't have anyone close to you YET....but perhaps will soon?? I know we have tons of jet boat owners in your area!
