Copart — salvage 2016 yamaha

If someone buys that, I'll buy the bimini (or trade you a gray one for it).

A few folks were talking about fixing it. IMO that is dicey as the main wiring harness and steering linkages may be toast the way that helm got popped out. No photos of the engine bay so don't even know if the engines are still in it. Trailer, Tower, Engines(if it has them), and jets are where all the part out money is at with this thing but then how do you get rid of a 24 foot fiberglass carcass?

Have fun with a sawzall!!

That hull is ready for the shredder... I guess the concept would be parting it out and the only thing of significant value are the engines which are not shown and for all you know, the boat might have sunk!

Ha! That could be a lot of work but it got me thinking. I bet a private firearm range would love to put that thing in front of a berm.

I'll take the tower.

Very good point

Good point about no engine pics,,, that’s most of the value in my mind.

Getting rid of the hull is easy. Drive it to the land fill during the free week. Back up to the compactor, tie it off and drive away. (Maybe get some YouTube video of it getting crushed)

Copart is pretty good about disclosing flood damage. And for that matter letting you know when things like engines have been stripped.

Copart is tricky. I planned to buy a mustang from there for the drive train. Bidders around the world drive up process to crazy levels. Then you think you won the online auction, but the real life bidders on site get to keep bidding on the after bidding. I wouldn't be surprised if this goes for 25k+.

The problem is its a 6000 mile round trip just to pick it up and bring it back to the East Coast. Maybe one of them cant talk @Betik into grabbing it for them.

It is only 4,000 miles from Dallas and I am going to Florida for the Bimini trip anyway. :jimlad:

@John Mcpartland as long as you can cover the fuel from TX to WA, I will pick a weekend in April or May and come fetch it.

I forgo to mention, it might be worth trying USHIP, Someone might have just enough space.
