I know some of you have mentioned the Core Creek Marina off of Adams Creek on the New Bern to Beaufort run. Just wanted to share the news that they had a fire last night. I don't know anymore about it than what is in that news article.

I'm just getting back State side as I'm typing...Thx for the info! I need to reach out to the owner and see how he and his wife are doing. Terrible news...Thx again and I'm just glad no one was injured according to the article.
 
o man am I behind the ball on this thread: @waterboy and I used that launch. GOOD PEOPLE starting a new marina, campground, launch, parking. guy has his heart in the right place for starting a small business.
