You be needin to take your boat out of the water a bit more often. I don't think sacrificial plates will help with marine growth.

After looking at a old thread, my question is how many anodes are there? One post says 3, or 1 per engine. Is there more than just one on the side of the jet?

It was dirty after a winter in the water,but those were crusty corrosion not barnacles. But that could give me a reason to wear a pirate hat next time I head out on the lake.

There are also different types of anodes for different water exposures. As I recall zinc works best in saltwater, magnesium in fresh water, and aluminum in brackish, salt, & fresh water.
