So been down here at JET SET and my FSH has done great other then sucking sea glass yesterday at Black Island. On our way back from crab Island today I noticed that at some point on my trip I must have cracked the edge of my dash. We’ve been out in the gulf of Mexico a lot this week and the first couple days have been a little rough, but nothing that was drastic. Has anyone else experienced this and would you think it would be considered a warranty issue?

I think that’s a warranty issue…be sure and keep that piece that broke off so you can show that nothing struck that corner. From here it appears the fast er was over tightened.

That stuff is beautiful and a lot of boats MFG use it but it's Brittle and yes a slight over tighten is a bad thing..................if I was replacing I would use a good marine caulk/adhesive and just snug the fasteners and allow the caulk distribute the load over a much wider area.

Good luck but it sure looks like a warranty issue.
