Had privilege of riding along for a test run of a Cruisers Yacht on Lake Texoma. Model was a 54’ Cantius.

The technology was so impressive. Joystick located at the swim deck to aid in docking. 400lb Gyro stabilizer in the engine room. The Garmin control system was so detailed and customizable. Etc.

Was a fun day to learn about a dream vessel.

It looks great. A dream boat for sure. I am still partial to a flybridge. The SeaRay 400Fly is my lotto pick! Now I just have to start playing the lottery.

Beautiful boat.....but for a poor schmuck like me I am about 2.1 million short :) Hell, I couldnt afford to put fuel in it!

I’m with you, the fuel and maintenance bill would put a hurt on me. However I love to learn about complex machines.

Yea....I look at all the big boats on boattest.com.....nice to dream, but nowhere near reality:)

Awesome! I still have a dream of retiring and buying a boat like that (maybe not that big, but the Cantius 42 or 45 seems reasonable) and just cruising around the Caribbean for 4-5 years. Also, thinking about retiring 10 years earlier than planned and forgoing that adventure.

Both great plans @rrmidden. I hope one or the other works out for you! The part I do like that could make dreams come true by the time I retire is the depreciation the big boats see over the years. Maintenance never ends; but even a couple years of boatlife port to port would be cool.

It’s a great dream. For me, it’s something like a Leopard 45 or 50 sailing cat. At least the fuel bill would be smaller!

WWJBD? What would Jimmy Buffett do?
