My Sx230 has sort of a grayish wood grain appearance on the dash around the gauges. Everything I see makes it look like everyone has has glossy black there. The area around my throttle is grayish as well, and possibly faded. I'm trying to figure out exactly how these parts are supposed to look, and not sure if mine has just faded weird, was an option, an aftermarket piece... Really have no idea.

Can we see some pictures? Do you have some history on the boat? is it new to you?
Mine is smooth grey there. no wood grain anywhere.

(Edit: like the pictures below, mine is mostly grey and with the black trim piece around the gauges.)

On my 07 AR230 it looked like this. Black and grey.

I've had it for a few years, it's up in NC currently in storage so can't take any pics. I've kind of considered painting these pieces or vinyl wrapping them, not sure what colors I would do.

The woodgrain kinda looks nice, but it's also sort of faded looking. My boat sat uncovered for a while before I purchased it and so the seats, gel coat, etc do have some sun damage. Nothing was too bad, but I'm looking to freshen it up.

I believe by the color on your hull, taupe, that makes yours a 232. Do you have a wash down hose? That may explain the wood grain.

No wash down hose, and the stickers said Sx230 on the side.

What color is the interior? Brown/Beige trim on the white cushions vs. grey?

It was actually mostly white. The trim around the gear shifter and stuff like that is gray.

You are right. Yamaha did not make a 232 in 2007. She is a 230.
