Decided to do a diy dash project on the boat

So I decided to pull my dashes off and spray them was thinkn of having them hydro dipped or wrapped but thought I would try this first . Bought some trunk paint and clear at the store and got started not completely finished but almost

trunk paint ? This is a cool project. I've been thinking of cerakoteing mine....but I cant imagine having the time to pull my dash, let alone reassemble it..:meh::meh:
 
That's pretty cool!! You got pics of it all put together and back in the boat?
 
Not yet still putting some coats of clear on them and letting them get good and dry
 
Here is the passenger side dash back in waiting on some new blubs for the tach and speedo and I had to redo a couple of the studs on the other one. First time I have had time to work on them

Thanks I think they turned out ok not a professional job but looks a hell of alot better than the ugly old Tan lol
 
Nice. I see your throttle setup ain't stock. I remember your year of boat it was a single lever setup correct? The next year they switched to the proper twin throttles if I remember correctly.
