I need some help with sourcing the factory transducer.
I am getting the “depth comm error” message. I took it to my local dealer for that and water intrusion thru the rear skirting, they removed the skirting and sealed everything up with no issues.

When it came to the transducer he blames it on my stereo system. I know that’s not the case and am pretty sure it a faulty transducer by reading other posts here. Sometimes I don’t get the alarm and others I do.

I asked for a cost for me to pay out of pocket to get it replaced and received a $600 quote for the transducer plus 4 hours labor!
I know it’s made by Airmar just trying to get a model number so I can replace it myself.
Any help with a model number would be appreciated, thanks.

If you go to this Airmar website, may have to search Yamaha, it gives you Yamaha and Airmar part numbers. If you look up the Yamaha p/n on a Yamaha parts supplier page, you should be able to convert it.

Did you ever find out anything about this or solve it? I've seen this happen to me on a couple of occasions out of the blue.

I replaced the transducer. I have been trouble free almost 2 seasons now.
Mine started doing it more and more often until it just quit, good luck.
