I use a foam cannon with a small electric pressure washer with salt a way it foams up really nice. Works awesome haven't found anything better. IMG_20160907_193646.jpg IMG_20160907_194846.jpg IMG_20160907_194851.jpg IMG_20160907_195043.jpg

I just like your boat. Prolly awesome in the rough!

I use my foam cannon on my boat too when returning from the beach. I haven't tried putting salt away in it but I do make sure to use a whole reservoir on just the outside of the boat and let it soak good, then give it a real good wash with the foam lance using Chemical Guys products. Love it!

I have not heard of a foam cannon before this thread. WOW! I'm ordering mine now!!!!

I use an MTM Foam Cannon and it works great. However I will warn you not to spray it around your cup holders, as that is when I realized they don't have their own drain tubes but rather dump right into the storage areas under the seats (what a stupid design). Also don't make the mistake of thinking the foam cannon replaces washing the vehicle. The purpose of the foam cannon is to spray foam on the vehicle and it will carry the top layer of dust, particles and grime off the surface so that it gives to a prepared "clean" surface to hand wash so you don't create fine swirl marks or scratches. It's how I keep my black truck looking clean without a ton of scratches. Just letting you know because a lot of people buy a foam cannon and then give it bad reviews because they expceted it to be a one-stop foam car wash when in reality its for pre-wash procedure.

Foam cannon works even better with the correct soap. I use honey dew from chemical guys.

I silicone sealed all my cup holders. it stinks I have to manually get the water out, but there was no way I was gonna allow water easily into my carpeted areas...

thanks for the extra info!

+1 for Honeydew! It's my #1 go-to foam soap and it smells fantastic :D. I also like the Citrus Wash and it seems to leave a nice hard shine on dark colors and it cuts bugs and tar off real good. Mr. Pink smells great but it doesn't foam as well as Honeydew does for me.

It's funny when I foam my truck because neighbors pulling into or leaving the neighborhhod always stare like "WTF?!..I need one of those! It's looks FUN". I had one guy stop his truck and come ask me about it while I was using it lol.

Do you have to use a pressure washer with this setup or will a standard hose (with the fitting) work?

I use a small Pressure washer. don't think you could get the same amount of foam action out of just a hose..

I forgot to post this video when I uploaded it. This was with a more diluted ratio than I normally use for my truck to try and keep it from being too foamy, as it can be a chore to get it all out of the inside of the boat if you foam the heck out of it. Not to mention the damn cup holder drains so I went a little lighter this go around but it gives you an idea.. You can make it so thick its like shaving creme if you really want to.

@Eric Ballard - Another option for the cupholders is buying a roll of silicone tubing and running lines to where you want the water to go. Works great for me and I have cupholders over speakers. I saw that idea posted on here by someone else and can't remember who but thought I would pass it along in the spirit of this community.

I've actually been thinking about that; I don't think it would be too hard to run tubing. so far drying the cup holder out is more of a pain than I thought it would be and when I get lazy and don't do it there is way too much water under the cover of the boat.
