Hey guys, in Destin and we’d like to hit up a restaurant for lunch in Destin tomorrow. Anyone know if there are restaurant docks there along the boardwalk? Or will I have to find a marina dock?

Pretty much everything on the harbor walk is private for rentals, tours, etc. I think Dewey Destins has a small public dock if you can find a spot. There are a bunch of floating vendors out a Crab Island, Burgers, BBQ, etc we always pack a lunch but I’ve flagged down the ice cream boat a couple times for the kids.

There is also another place with a dock on the north side of Destin, I can’t for the life of me remember the name right now though.

I think you were the one asking about rentals, depending on where you rented from you could dock back at the rental location and walk. You can walk a ways East of AJs, on the docks.

No we brought the boat down. We’ve done Crab Island vendors a few times, done The Gulf over by Okaloosa. Just thought we’d change it up, this is our 3rd time with the boat down here we just like to change it up.

Ahh gotcha, my bad, someone was asking earlier in the week about rentals because they left their boat home. Got ya confused.

Lol no prob.

I'm in Destin and Other than the Gulf, there's not much to pull up to around destin. You can go to AJ's in Fort Walton Beach I think. There's also a restaurant just to the east of the mid bay bridge. I can't recall off the top of my head if they have docs to tie to or just pull up to the beach and walk up.

Side note, I'd really like to see your boat if you have some time this weekend. The 210 FSH is on my short list for my next boat but haven't actually seen one in person.

We’ll be out on the bay tomorrow, probably hit up Crab Island in the morning. Not my scene but the kids love it. Then around the bay and maybe the narrows islands on the way back to Navarre in the afternoon. Saturday heading over to Gulf Shores then home Monday.

Highly recommend “The Twist” for Ice Cream or Tommy’s sno cones for a little post boat treat if you are putting in at Navarre. Both right on the north side of the Navarre bridge. We live about a mile from the bridge, usually a nice way to finish off a day in the water!

The kids demanded the Twist already yesterday lol. Tommy’s we got to 2 years ago, but they aren’t super fans of sno cones. Plus we are west of the bridge in Holley so it’s kind of the opposite way.

Just an FYI AJ’s has a dock and we found a spot at 13:00. Waiting for a table now. Thanks for the tips y’all!

I know Dixie is headed home today but I think you are referring to Lulu's.
