20180826_194315.jpg We are currently using a 5'6" LF fish surfboard (our original board) and thinking of upgrading,

Anyone in the DFW area or even a little further out consider taking my daughter and I for an afternoon or lending a board to us for a day to try out ?

PM me if it's easier for you,
Scott

I bet @swatski will bring a board or two to Lake Ouachita.

We will take you guys. Only about 15 hours driving.

Can I use a traditional surf board that I use in the ocean to surf to try this? I know its more robust then the wake surf boards just wasn't sure what the main differences are.

Probably too large for the wake surf small pocket. @COtoFLsurf may know more?
I'll know more Sunday, will be seeing some surfing friends.

Yes. The ws boards are more fun and snappy, but it will totally work. I ride a 9' long board all the time. Been surfing behind boats with surf board for 20 years.
