So I picked up a SVHO intercooler, noticed the part number is different than stated on the parts list. Looks like HL is a littler longer than the ET. can I just get the right hose (made for the HL) that goes to the manifold and be ok or do I need a different intercooler? Thanks guys!

I am looking at one of these on ebay right now and I would like to know if it will work as well.

From what I have been able to see, they changed the intercooler in 2019, hence the different part number. It’s about an inch longer, so you need a new down pipe into the manifold. No problem right? $75 pipe. Except they are on national back order till middle of July due to the virus.

So the hose you need is for the 2020? 6HL-13651-00-00

I just picked up a used 6hl with all of the hoses. Will I have everything I need to do the Sx192 intercooler conversion.

Can you add a picture of all it came with?

got it, thanks for the response. I am new to this boat and this forum. I have a ribbon delete question also. Can I simply remove the ribbon or do I need to replace the ribbon with the Riva Ring?

You will need the Riva ring otherwise the rubber sleeve will suck into the manifold. You can go to rivaracing.com and on the bottom of the webpage are the instructions. They’re not really made for jet boats but it’s pretty close for the install.

From what I understand, ribbon delete on supercharged engines doesn't do much since the intake is pressurized...not worth the hassle. If you have a non-supercharged engine then the ribbon delete helps the engine breathe in easier for a bit more mid-range power.

Ribbon delete on Sho and Svho increases boost pressure 1-2lbs. Not much, but allows it to breathe a little better as well. RIVA kit for sure don’t cut corners and get the RIVA power filter while you’re at it.
