has anyone figured away to disable the captian chair lock. My wife hates how she has to unlock the chair all the time when spinning around.

If you flip that chair over and take a look at the mechanism, there is a spring that snaps it back into place as you rotate. You could take that spring out. But it is there for a safety reason when driving.

So no, there is no temp fix. You could take the spring out, and tighten the tension on the rotate, so it would be unlocked all the time, but rotate a bit stiffer to hold it in place while driving.

Good luck,

Thanks good to know, unlocking the chairs can be a pain in the ass.

Good advice. I think our spring is missing after we took it out to put on Seadeck - so it swivels (very stiffly - i keep it tight) without locking. Now I'll check on that spring.
