I am having difficulty getting a car picked up in Meriden CT, to be shipped to central Arkansas.

I am wondering if anyone could help with tips to get it moving.

Following, as my son has a car in NC he needs shipped to Indiana, and as of right now Ol Dad and his F150 with a rented car hauler is the only option.

Uship worked well for me shipping a boat from Washington to Minnesota. (It can be used to ship anything.)

I found a local transport company who was willing to fly a driver out to drive it back. Should be leaving at 06:00 tomorrow.

I have used UShip in the past and planned to this time. I did not receive any actual bids on UShip just a few brokers who wanted to list it on load boards.

I listed on load boards at $1,235 as recommended by a broker on July 29th. In the five days since there has not been any interest in the listing. I tried a second load board listing with a drop off to a larger city but still no luck.

I understand that there is a shortage of drivers.
