I was dogless when I had my last boat and now only have a couple of Waverunners. My dogs love to cruise in my Wrangler with their heads out the windows. My wife asked that when we get our boat, can we bring the dogs along. I don't see why not...

absolutely ! there is an entire thread on here of dogs boating.........I would just caution on the claws and puncturing the seats as they try to maintain "grip"

...and welcome to the group !!

We've taken one of our labs a few times. It makes a little extra cleanup but if he likes it, I'm good with it.

It is actually Chesters boat, he just brings me to drive it for him!

I love dogs, but I'm super OCD. I would think it would hurt resale value. No matter how careful I would think that their claws will put at least light scratches in the vinyl and the glass. Also for those of us that have hydro-turf or seadek I'd be nervous about marking it up.

I do love pups though and for those that it won't bother more power to ya! I've had friends ask if they could bring their dog and my answer was a very firm, "hell no!"

Trim their nails back then use a rotary nail tool to take away any sharp edge.

I’m getting scratches on my swim deck from the dog. Anyone ever tried these or something like them and had success?
