Glad to see that both have apparently recovered, and I’m glad to see that. Good thing they were wearing PFD’s or they‘d probably be dead. Also glad to see good samaritans provided first aid until EMS arrived.

As with another thread here this morning the “news” article is lacking information, in this case what boat was it? Im just amazed that people are sitting there breathing exhaust, sure CO is odorless but the rest of the exhaust has an odor.
 
There are people that will ignore because they know everything and are smarter than everybody else.
 
the stupidity is continuous. See it all the time on Yamaha's, and other boats that have swim platforms. Kids or people just laying there sunning themselves or sitting on the swim platforms while the boat is underway, both at no wake and faster. People do what they do and will suffer the consequences. I have tried to mention it only to get sworn at, the finger and yelled at. A few times I was thanked.
