Drilling holes in tower

I have an AR210 2012. I need to drill a few holes to get the speakers and lights wires to the top of the tower. I need to drilling 3 1 inch holes, will this compromise the tower structure?

Not at all. Use a step bit and you'll be fine.

I used regular metal bits, 1" seems a bit large, I think mine are 1/2". What size wires are you using? You forgot to ask the most important question, how to pull the wire through the tower. Attach a piece of cotton ball to fine fishing line and use a vacuum cleaner to suck the cotton ball from one hole to the other. Use the fishing line to pull a string through and use the string to pull the cable, don't try to use the fishing line to pull the cable since any little burr will cut it.

Running the wires no problem just didn't want to compromise the tower structure. Redid the existing speakers yesterday and ran new power wires for the amp to drive the tower speakers.
Waiting for water proof fitting to do thew tower speakers. On thing I found yesterday was the seat came out be hide the console.
This was a great find and I really thought I was going to get suck trying to get at the radio...

the wire is 5/8 and than the grommets will be about 7/8" running 16/12 for speakers and lights

In theory - yes, but in practice it will critically depend on the location of the hole.

On the AR210 I need to drill 3 holes going up the side and one at the top. the one at the top I might be be able to go small
because the wire will be going through the bracket and won't be moving. There will be a 3/8 hole for the second speaker.

Honestly, I wouldn't sweat it. At least in my experience, assuming use of common sense, most issues with any wake tower are usually not due to holes drilled.
