Hey everyone. This might be a dumb question but my transducer died in my 212 limited s. The transducer is an airmar DT800. Appears the only difference between getting the $200 version and the official Yamaha OEM version for $600+ is that the Yamaha version has the 4 pin connector on it. Wouldn’t I just be able to order the cheaper one and solder/heat shrink the wiring so I don’t have to get raped by Yamaha?

I found the yamaha one on sale and got it for approx $450, just figured would be easier to plug and play...probably doing the install next week

I would like to know the answer to this question as well...
