We should resurrect this thread... With the Key Bridge removal, and the digging of the new temporary channel, how much lithium and chromium will be disturbed from years of Bethlehem steel dumping? What will that do to the water quality?
Rope in all the rain we've had and back river's lack of ability to contain their shit (literally), and this could be a bad season on the bay.
Explained on a basic level, the website reminds that after rain events water quality can be worse, but Baltimore Harbor itself is safe ~90% of days in the summer, which should give anyone a good feeling when swimming in the bay in general.
I agree with @1BadTundra that this all is more of a bacterial look, rather than a heavy metals assessment
