@Eric Ballard you will like this we were on the water in one of your spots you like Georgetown and we got 100% coverage there. This video starts at 99% coverage and goes through 100% and back to 99% in real time I shot it with a go pro with no filter so the 100% coverage is not nearly as impressive in the video as it was in real life. If I would have been somewhere even with 99% coverage I think I would have been disappointed 100% coverage was pretty cool..

My first post, we'll make it a good one. Before totality and during on the Wilamette River in OR...

That's a great spot!!! was that a plane at about 2 minutes 18 seconds?

back on my computer so not trying to type on my phone,

I agree with Robert, 100% is amazing, seeing the white glow ring around the moon and viewing without glasses was great, we could see stars in the sky,

Traffic from Denver to Glendo, WY should have taken 3 hours was almost 5 hours and 6 1/2 on the return but worth every stop and go start.

We originally stopped at a spot for about 98% but when we realized traffic had freed up and we realized we had another 40 minutes before totality we drove the final portion and it was worth it.

Captured this picture from a clip our local meteorologist was in while out in the NC mountains. Pretty cool with the purple hue around the moon. Wondering if any of you that had 100% totality saw this or if it had to do with their location. Now this I would have liked to have seen in person.IMG_0776.PNG

That's pretty much exactly what it looked like here on the coast as well.

That's what we saw. iPhone couldn't capture it but we all agreed it was one of the most amazing things we've ever seen...
