Electronics Box options

Wife and I are looking to add some storage to our 2019 FSH 210....an electronics box came to mind.

I saw the post that BocaBoatn has showing his own fiberglass/starboard creation which looks extremely nice. It’s beyond my abilities at this point to recreate that.

Has anyone found a viable option that fits well?

I looked in to it for a bit. I bought a heavy duty one it was 2 heavy so go light. $500 mistake. I’m thinking aluminum custom. I want it to hold my VHF and external speafor it on the bottom. I found none that would fit well.

I just wanted to offer an update that I have still not found an option that works. There are a couple options that may work but I haven’t purchased any yet.

Tigress Marine sells a black box (small size) that may fit. At $400+ I’m reluctant to purchase on the chance it may work. I also haven’t figured out how I would mount it.

The second possibility is creating one from thick acrylic boards.

What exactly do you wish to accomplish?

Could a cooler be customized to fit your need?

Extra storage above the helm, doesn’t have to be y’all, but something to fill the width of the tower would be nice.

I’m going to the boat show next week I’ll let you know if I find anything. There is a need for a box they will fit in the T- Top on the FSH 21 Sport. @JetBoatPilot just to let you know.

@JetBoatPilot , while you’re at it why not design a hardtop replacement for the canvas Ttop covever with integrated electronics box. I, for one would definitely buy that !
