Any advice on flush mount or top console bracket mounted Solix 10 Humminbird on 2020 FSH 210 Sport. I always Bracket mounted my electronics on a bass boat so I could remove them when traveling or leaving boat at docks overnight. Also to keep them out of hot temperatures and extreme cold. Leaving a $2500 dollar electronic permanently mounted worries me. Has anyone experienced the pros and cons of the two mounting choices ?

I am looking to add some electronics to my boat in the near future so I am also interested in hearing the pros and cons to the mounting options.

When I added $1200 worth of tower speakers I was worried about theft. Then I called my rep at State Farm, had them add additional coverage for the sound system + anything else that's not "the boat/motor/trailer" - was an additional $67 a year.

I need to call insurance company and update now that I’m adding extra Equipment. Thanks for the reply.
